Knight Alan

Knight Alan is one of the Blessed  Children of the Harbingers, four divine maidens created by the Stray Gods for the four greatest houses of Theia
( the world in which the Knights of the Dark Age takes place) to bear the children of the most powerful Lords of the land, producing the ones prophesied to bring an end to the Eclipses and unseat the Nightbringer heretics as rulers of the Shining Palace and therefore all of Theia.

Alan is inspired by the typical concept of an Arthurian Knight and carries a long sword while  wearing plate armor. Alan, like the other Blessed Children is special due to shared divine heritage of the Harbingers, making him effectively a grandson of the gods, similar to heroes who are the descendants of Gods and Man in Greek and Roman myth.

The other Harbingers Children are the spear-wielding Spala, mace-bearing Mikul, and Dorn with his short sword and round shield. All of these children are destined to become an integral part of the recovery to a second Shining Age
